Stainless Steel Cabinet Doors

Lasertron manufactures a complete line of stainless steel cabinet doors and drawer fronts designed for the most discriminating buyer. The doors feature all stainless steel contruction with laser welded corners to eliminate the unsightly refinishing marks normally found on other doors. The backs of the doors have rolled edges making the back of the door as stunning as the front. There are no external welds or screws used in the assembly which results in an elegant uncluttered appearance. Glass doors are also available using the same methods of construction. A wide variety of glass is available to satisfy any preference. All doors are made with prime 304 grade 20 gage steel with a satin brush finish. Doors are predrilled for European style 35mm hinges. Hardware holes can be predrilled making installation actually simpler than wood doors. All doors are built to order and to the exact size required. Normal delivery is 2 weeks.

What to look for in Stainless Steel Doors

The back of the door should be stainless steel. Painted particle board or painted phenolic are poor substitutes for real stainless steel. They look cheap and will not hold up under normal use.

Check the back for unsightly spot welds, screws or other fasteners. Our doors are held together internally.

Make sure there are no sharp or exposed metal edges. Our doors have rounded, hemmed edges on all sides.

Tap the face of the door. You shouldn’t hear a tinny, hollow sound. Tap on our doors and you’ll hear the difference.

When comparing doors, look for attention to detail.
Do the pieces fit together properly?
Look at the outside corners.
Are they welded or is there a gap at the corner?
We use computer-controlled lasers and forming machines to insure the ultimate in fit and finish. Make sure the brush finish is consistent from door to door. Lasertron only buys stainless steel from sources that are capable of providing a consistent, appliance-grade finish.

Look at the corners. Conventionally welded corners must be ground smooth after welding and then repolished to match the finish of the rest of the door. Matching the finish is expensive and very difficult to consistently achieve. Our corners are laser welded which eliminates the grinding step and the need to repolish. Every corner is consistent and there is no unsightly mismatch in the finish.
